“The Dream” is the theme of Maiori Carnival 2026, one of the most distinctive carnival celebrations on the Amalfi Coast. A seaside event featuring impressive allegorical floats, music and dance, set against the breathtaking scenery of the Costa d’Amalfi.
Recognised among Italy’s historic carnivals, the Gran Carnevale di Maiori returns with the traditional parade of carnival floats along Maiori’s seafront on 15, 17 and 22 February 2026, offering visitors a unique cultural experience just steps from the sea.
Parade dates and times
Sunday 15 February and Sunday 22 February 2026
Morning parade: 11.30 am – 1.00 pm
Afternoon parade: 3.30 pm – 8.00 pm
6.00 pm: spectacular fireworks display on the beach
Tuesday 17 February 2026 – Shrove Tuesday
Carnival parade: 4.30 pm – 8.00 pm
