Auriola Valley and Monte Forcella
A wonderful day of hiking immersed in the scent of lemons and the lush green of unspoilt landscapes.
The walk starts in Maiori, following the Path of Lemons to Minori. From here, the route climbs alongside the Sambuco stream, crossing the Auriola Valley, where walkers can admire the evocative ruins of the ancient paper mills and the characteristic terraced lemon groves. Reaching the village of Sambuco, in the municipality of Ravello, the trail continues towards Monte Forcella and the beautiful Monastery of San Nicola.
After a lunch break at the monastery, the descent follows the steps in the Sangineto area, eventually leading back to Maiori.
Excursion fee
€35 per person, broken down as follows:
- Guided hike with certified hiking guide and participant insurance: €15
- Lunch at the Monastery of San Nicola: €20 (proceeds will be donated to support the restoration of the monastery)
